The Wound Dressing #15 is an essential emergency dressing designed for compressing medium-sized, serious wounds. It features a highly absorbent cotton pad attached to a cotton gauze bandage, effectively absorbing blood and controlling bleeding. This single-use dressing is a crucial addition to any First Aid Kit.
Directions for Use:
- Pull the tab to unwrap the dressing, taking care not to touch the sterile pad.
- Place the pad directly over the wound, holding the short end of the bandage.
- Firmly wind the long end around the limb and secure it with a knot.
Use wound dressings together with combine dressings to prevent the dressing from adhering to the wound.
